TASK AND DUTIES LIST
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education. H.S. Diploma
or GED
- Experience. At least
1-2 years experience in kitchen.
- Skills. Math, Read,
know recipes; food preparation; supervisory
ability.
- Physical. Stand all
day; use equipment.
- Mental. Good memory.
Licenses. AS REQUIRED BY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
REPORTS TO: President
TASK AND DUTIES.
- Direct and schedule
kitchen work force
- Prepare daily production
report.
- Prepare and wrap
sandwiches.
- Pull meat for next
day's use.
- Interview and hire
kitchen staff.
- Evaluations of kitchen
staff; recommend pay adjustments, disciplinary
and termination actions.
- Prepare and place
orders for food, packaging and supplies for
use in kitchen.
- Direct and take inventory
for kitchen.
- Direct daily/weekly
cleaning of kitchen.
- Maintain health dept.
rules in kitchen and personal hygiene standards
of kitchen staff.
- Maintain quality standards
of food production on a daily basis.
- Monitor correct use
of measures and adherence to portion control
standards
- Compare prices of
products; check new platters.
- Weights done for all
labeling. Information to correction employee
for use on labels.
- Attend food shows
and conferences.
- Labels.
- Product Pricing
- Product Development
- Other duties as assigned.
