EXPERIENCE: 3 years
as Sales, Sales Management or Sales Route Driver,
prefer someone who has previously sold to local
industry, or equivalent, basic computer skills.
SKILLS: Strong
account closer, supervision skills, able to
perform more than one duty at a time. Math ,
make change, organizational, driving small truck,
quick addition, good verbal communications.
Must be able to search in any program used in
duties, self-directed.
PHYSICAL: Lifting
30 - 40 LBS.
MENTAL: Personable,
even temperament day in and day out. Sales minded.
LICENSES:
Drivers License with good driving record.
REPORTS TO: PRESIDENT
TASK AND DUTIES:
Prospect
and keep routes booked full. Generate new business.
Develop
client relations.
Search new
marketing areas.
Responsible
for sales productivity and expansion.
Maintain
client retention.
Coordinate
sales with company's goals and objectives.
Research
and develop leads.
Maintain
paperwork for new accounts.
Maintain
customer files on MYOB System.
Maintain
prospective customer files.
Time management
includes routing and buzzer schedules, commissary
time. Keep routes with correct times and correct
buzzer and time problems.
Make sure
all routes are profitable: Includes determining
weekly gross profit of each sales route. Total
the daily usage reports of driver over the week
to determine total quantity of each item sold.
With aid of computer, value out the food and
packaging cost of each item and determine the
gross profit of each product and for the truck
for the week. (This is to be set up with programmer)
Person will run reports. See below.
Compute
weekly report for President by end of day. (To
be set up by programmer not yet completed)
Order adjustments;
oversee sales routes.
Process
change order to next day's production report.
Inspections
of all route trucks; clean truck inside and
out; as per schedule, daily, weekly, monthly.
Keep route
sheets accurate and updated at all times.
Train new
sales route managers according to their task
and duties list. This most likely will go to
Route Manager. This position will probably just
teach the available route.
Verify daily
orders are correct & sufficient quantities
and prepare order and productions sheets.
