Sales Route Manager

TASK AND DUTIES LIST
REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma Or GED
  
• EXPERIENCE: None needed.
  
• SKILLS: Math, make change, organizational, driving small truck, quick addition, good verbal communications.
  
• PHYSICAL: Lifting 30 - 40 LBS.
  
• MENTAL: Personable, even temperament day in and day out. Sales minded.
  
• LICENSES: Driver's License with good driving record and accepted by YES Mobile Catering, Incorporated's insurance company. If insurance company does not accept me as an insurable driver under YES' Plan I will be dismissed immediately.

  REPORTS TO: ROUTE SALES SUPERINTENDENT

TASK AND DUTIES:

1. Scrap and shrinkage control
   
2. Accurate and timely ordering
   
3. Stock rotation
   
4. Load and unload truck daily
   
5. Time management, includes routing and buzzer schedules, commissary time
   
6. Merchandising
   
7. Operate profitable food route
   
8. Temperature control
   
9. Keep truck operationally ready; propane, gasoline, report maintenance needs
   
10. Keep clean truck inside and out; as per schedule, daily, weekly, monthly.
    
11. Full product knowledge
    
12. Prospect and keep route booked full
    
13. Order adjustments
    
14. Other duties as assigned.
    
15. Wear uniform daily. Tuck in shirttail and wear belt if pants have belt loops.
    
16. Responsible for Health Inspection of assigned truck
    
17. Balanced Truck Accounting
    
18. Use of Hand held computer and Scanning Bar-codes
    
19. Must be available for Saturday work as needed.
