EXPERIENCE:
3 Years as Sales Route Manager or equivalent.
SKILLS:
Math, make change, organizational, driving small
truck, quick addition, good verbal communication
skills, some computer, and managerial skills.
PHYSICAL:
Lifting 30 - 40 LBS.
MENTAL:
Personable, even temperament day in and day
out Sales minded Management minded and Company
orientated.
LICENSES:
Drivers license with good driving record.
REPORTS TO Sales
Manager. In the absence of a Sales Manager
reports to President.
TASK AND DUTIES:
Train all new Route
Sales Managers in all aspects of their position.
Oversee all paperwork
for new Accounts.
Schedule and oversee
hot loading of all trucks daily
Oversee and inspect
all trucks daily for loading requirements and
cleanliness.
Daily company
closing.
Order Adjustments,
including overseeing and making sure all ordering
is correct.
Saturdays when
routes are required for operation.
Plan Saturday scheduling,
numbers and coordinate with kitchen manager
for food by Wednesday each week
Verify Daily orders
for correctness and sufficient quantity both
of own and other sales routes
Holiday Route
scheduling for all routes and Sales drivers.
Emergency change
orders and directions to all drivers for procedure.
Keep all route
sheets accurate and updated at all times.
Make sure all
routes are operating on the same time, with
correct times and correct buzzers allocated
on route sheet. Contact with customers a must
for correction of time problems.
Scrap and shrinkage
control

Load and unload
truck daily with accurate counting procedure
and food handling requirements.
